[Guide] RP-Driving Empty

Filling Fuel

Okay. We are running low on gas, and we have been heading to the nearest gas station. In this case, Grove Street Gas Station is now using as an exemple.

There is some rules about parking the vehicle at the gas stations.
As you can see in this exemple, the yellow vehicle is facing to the south and its parked on the west side of the gas pumbs. If you parking your vehicle on the other side of the gas pumbs, your vehicle should be facing to the north.

[Guide] RP-Driving Gas110

Another thing, there is usaly two spots for vehicle on each sides. That means there can be 2 vehicles on each side. 4 vehicles can refueling at the same time. When you arriving the gas station, and you are going to park. If the last spot is empty, you need to use it. So another vehicle can come behind you.

[Guide] RP-Driving Gas210

If you park your vehicle on the wrong side of the pumps, there can be caos. You or someone else may crash into another vehicle. As you see here, the green vehicle needs to wait intil the yellow vehicle have been moved, or it have to turn around. And if the green vehicle are going to turn around, and dont be watching his back, while the white clover is done filling fuel, and are starting to drive away from the gas pumbs. And they crashes into each other, becuase of your fail parking!
So do not park on the wrong side!

[Guide] RP-Driving Gas3310

After you are done with filling your vehicle with fuel, you cant just leave the vehicle parked near the gas pumbs. Also when you are not going to fill your vehicle with fuel, you need to stay as far as possible away from the gas pumbs, both you and your vehicle. If someone is coming later, after you while you are still at the gas station and you have parked your car near the gas pums (As is not allowed), the other people who comes after you, may not see your vehicle becuase of SA:MP bugs.

(I am sure all knows of this bug, you park your vehicle nicely off the road, and other people who comes later can see the vehicle middle of the road)

And if you have parked your vehicle near the gas pumbs, and somone else are coming, someone who dont see your vehicle parked very near at the gas pumbs, he just drive normaly to fill gas, but for you he then his your vehicle and it can go inside the pumbs and explode the gas station.

Pulling over

When you are on the road, you need to watch out for police vehicles with sirens. If you see a police vehicle coming behind you with sirens, you need to pull over. The police is not dangerous. The reason may they asking you to pull over is eithen you have been abit uncareful, or of not have been following the law. To pull over your vehicle, you need to slow down your vehicle. This is a signal, so the police they can know that you are going to pull over. If you dont have good enough space to park your vehicle anywhere close, you can drive slowly to find another spot to park. Do not start to speed to find another spot, drive slowly. Remember to find a place where the police vehicle can park behind your vehicle. Starting speeding to find another spot to park is not an good idea, the police will starts speeding becuase they think you are going to try to escape. They can call for backup or use force, you can and will be ticket for speeding if its have gone too far.

When they are going to control you (Asking you to pull over), they will drive 10-20 meters away from your vehicle, they will not stay so far away if you are speeding!
Drive SLOWLY!!

[Guide] RP-Driving Pull110[Guide] RP-Driving Pullpa11

When you have pulled over your vehicle of the side of the road, the police will park right behind you. Around 5 meters between the vehicles, everytimes the police stops you, they will ask you to turn your vehicle engine off. So after you have pulled over, its a good idea to turn your engine off anyway, istead of sitting in your vehicle just waiting to they ask you to turn the engine off.

When you see a police vehicle behind you with sirens, you should NEVER stop your vehicle middle of the road. After pulled over, dont step out of your vehicle, always remain seated!

What to do list:
- Take control over your vehicle.
- Drive slowly, and find a place to park.
- Park your vehicle off the road.
- Turn the engine off and remain seated!

Emergency

When you are on the road, you maybe see very often that there is police vehicles with sirens. When you see on police car with sirens, it dosn't mean they are after you, becuase you have done something wrong... When you have a police vehicle behind you with siren while you are driving on the road, its some ways to check if they are after you or if they are going to another place...

If they are needed at a place, and if that is important, they drive fast with sirens, but if the traffic jams are big they will drive abit slower than they usely does. When they are driving fast, and comes behind you fastly, it can means that you are speeding very much, and the police are speeding too get close to you. But when you self know when you are just driving nicely, and the police vehicle with sirens comes behind, it can also mean they are needed at a place.

Everytime you see a vehicle with sirens (Police, Ambulance or Firetruck), you need to get off the road as soon as possible. You need to make the road clear, we can call it clearing the road. So you need to pull over your vehicle here also, but this need to go alot quicker than just a normal pull over when the police asking you to pull over. The first thing you need to do, it to get full control over your vehicle, and get off the road very fast, but dont drive too fast. Remember, you need to have control over the vehicle so you are able to stop the vehicle when you are off the road.

Stay off the road untill the vehicles with sirens have passed you, you dont need to turn your engine off. Do never steps out of your vehicle in this situation! After they have passed you, you can nicely get back on the road again.

Following ambulance, firetruck or police vehicles with sirens, are not allowed. That is non-RP to follow them when they are driving fast.

Passing Police Vehicle

The police often pulls over different drivers and vehicles, most of the time they pulls over small vehicles. Small vehicles is small enough to go off the road and make the road clear. This example is very simple. You are driving to meet a friend at a club, on the way you see the police vehicle with the lights on and a bus parked in front of it. A bus is very huge and long, and may not have the space to get totally off the road, but the police will try the best to keep the road clear. When you come closer to the police vehicle, you need to slow down the speed, and stop if necessary. The vehicles coming on the other side, needs to drive as far as possible away from the bus and the police car, so you can pass through them. This means you need to drive middle of the road. You slow down to make sure you are able to drive the passing vehicle and the police, if its not clear or an vehicle is too close you need to stop and wait to the road is clear. The black vehicle (Red marked) is too close, and here you need to stop. Don't start using the horn!

[Guide] RP-Driving Pictur12

When the road is clear, you can drive. Keep your speed slow and stay away from the police vehicle and the bus, because the officers most be able to enter and exit the police car at any time. The bus may take off at any time, and if you see that something is wrong, for example that the bus starts driving, the police officer runs to the car. Then you have to stop your car immediately, this is only when you are passing. If you have already passed the vehicles, and the police comes with sirens, you pull over usual.
